We specialize in natural-looking koi ponds that blend right into any landscape.
Each of our ponds has a bog filter which is a maintenance-free filter that mimics the way water filtration occurs in nature. Pea gravel in the bog provides mechanical filtration and removes waste and particulate matter from the water. Plants in the bog provide biological filtration which not only improves water quality but also inhibits the growth of algae. Additionally, it is really fun to put all sorts of beautiful plants in the bog and it really becomes a desirable feature of the pond and does not look like a filter at all!
The bog keeps the water in the pond crystal clear so you can see and enjoy your fish.
Another premium feature of our ponds is that we put a double layer of rock around the perimeter of the pond; one layer that rests below the surface of the water and the other layer rests on top of the bottom layer. This double layer method prevents you from seeing the pond liner should the water level in the pond drop a little bit. The extra rock layer also makes the pond look a lot prettier.
We can provide you with a free preliminary quote without coming out to your home. This quote will be a rough estimate for your pond project based upon the size and depth of the pond, as well as some other factors that we will ask you about. If you are happy with the rough estimate and decide you want to move forward with us, we will come out to your property to discuss your pond project with you in more detail so that we can provide you with a final bid for your pond. We can typically build a pond for approximately 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of the large brick and mortar pond guys because we do not have their overhead. Having said that, we probably aren't the cheapest you can find either for some of the reasons we mentioned above, and also because we use the best EPDM liners and the best water pumps; we don't skimp!
